I like to look at the book market because it’s kind of comparable to the newspaper market. There is no total disruption, because the medium adds a lot of value. Paper transcends an aura of relaxation and a moment for yourself. It does not buzz or multitask. This study shows that a growing share of Americans are reading books digitally. And many times on tablets and smartphones rather than dedicated e-readers. But print books remain much more popular than books in digital formats.
